Overview
XControl is a platform for connected devices in buildings and industry. Its users needed to check readings and switch outputs from a phone instead of a desktop dashboard.
Goal
Create a mobile application for IoT device management: sign in with an XControl account, see temperature and energy readings per device, control outputs with timed or permanent activation and review history on charts.
A look around
Result
A cross-platform iOS and Android app built with Ionic from a single codebase. It authenticates against the XControl platform, lists devices with their last communication, groups readings into temperature, energy and outputs, and lets users activate an output for seconds, minutes or permanently.
