Overview

Minima.market started as an internal side project: a place to sell the low-poly 3D icon packs and device mockups our designers were producing, without going through a third-party marketplace and its fees.

Goal

Create an in-house marketplace for selling low-poly 3D assets: product pages for icon sets and mockups, free demo downloads, card payments and a storefront fast enough to double as a portfolio.

Under the hood

Static storefront
Built with Gatsby and React, the whole catalogue is pre-rendered, so product pages load instantly and the site costs next to nothing to host.
Stripe checkout
Payments go through Stripe Checkout; a successful purchase unlocks the download, and free demo packs are available without an account.

Result

We built the marketplace as a static Gatsby site with Stripe for payments. Each product lists its icon count, formats and compatibility with Figma and Sketch, offers a free demo and sells with one click. The site also served as a showcase for the 3D work itself.
